Great article.  Great site.  There is another quick way to know who is following you back!  When you follow someone, they get put in your "following" list and when they follow you back, you have the ability to "Direct Message" them.  So, anyone in your "following" list that does NOT have the "Direct Message" link right under their name, did not follow you back.  You can remove them on that same page if you choose.
