The beginning of a new chapter.

Hey new friends:
Thanks for coming by my Blog today. I am really excited about where I am at in my life right now. I live on beautiful Vancouver Island, B.C., Canada. I am a Business and Health Coach and also operate my own internet marketing company from my home. I have some great mentors and was recently in New York City at a Mastermind Group session, where I just learned tons!!
I am working on massive action and I am in a 90 day challenge course right now. Just over a week ago we had training on article writing. I have always enjoyed writing and we were told to play up our strengths initially, so I went ahead and wrote a few articles and submitted them to EzineArticles. My first two articles were approved and within a matter of hours they were both on the first page of Google.
The article called “Effective Mentors are Critical to Your Success” was listed No. 4 on Page 1 out of 2,440,000 results. Really, I had to check it a few times to make sure it was real.
I am not saying this to brag but to point out that a complete ‘newbie’ like myself can actually get on the front page of Google within a few hours of submitting an article. I just followed a few simple directions and voila!
I think that I am going to put quite a bit of emphasis on my article writing and then choose a few other avenues such as Twitter and Facebook to concentrate on.
It’s better to do just a few things well than do lots of things just so. Find our what your strengths are and work with them. That’s not to say that you cannot learn new things, but if you want to get off to a fast start then work with your strengths.
I am really rather unfamiliar with blogging so if I am not doing things quite right, I would really appreciate comments. I am in a big learning curve right now but loving every minute of it. This is a very exciting business to be in and I can’t wait to see where I will be at in 6 months from now.
I will be blogging regularly so that you can follow along with me regarding my progress.
I welcome your comments and look forward to getting to know you.
Have a wonderful holiday,
Jan
